Bicycle Mechanics - Schwalbe Big Apple Front Fork

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Anyone know where I can get a black front fork for a normal mountain bike that can fit a 26" x 2.3" Schwalbe Big Apple Tire, or recommendations for one? Thanks.

Does anyone else use these tires for their bike?
If so, what size are they? Thanks.

Surly Instigator and Surly 1 x 1 forks both fit a 2.7" tire. Those are the only ones I know off hand.

I just measured my Schwalbe 2.3 Super Moto (same tire-more or less-as your Big Apple). It is just 2.3" wide no surprise. Most forks will accomodate a 2.3" wide tire, especially one with no knobs. My Manitou Black Elite forks have about 2.6-2.7" of room.
What fork are you using that won't take a 2.3" tire? Is the fork brace being rubbed by the tire? If so take a grinder to it.

i am getting a cadenza from dahon, so it won't be able to take a 2.3" tire in the front, at least not likely
i would like to add a 2.3" wide to the back as well, not sure if it is true that most bikes can commonly accomodate a tire that wide
it is supposed to be the same frame as the dahon jack
do you know if these have been adjusted to compensate for suspension forks being switched out?
my current bike will have just a regular rigid that I want to switch out...
it currently is holding a 1.5" thick tire...
