I know there's a similiar thread in the general discussusion, but I wanted a more race- specific one.

If you could be so kind as to include your skill level (Cat I, II, etc.) and types of races you enter.

As for me, I'm just contemplating racing...hence the curiosity. I have an '03 Specialized Allez Sport. Sorry, I don't have any good pics.

Danke!

I race with a bunch of guys in the hills. It's not official or licensed but very competitive and fast. We normally pick a place to start then decide on the day or during the week where to go. There is always a halfway point to re-fill bottles and have a chat. Some of the guys race with "proper" clubs also. Most rides have between 6 and 15 riders. Distance is from 60km to 85km for the day, with some longer races occasionally. Like I said it is a hills based club, no flat roads, average speed is about 30kph-35kph.

My race bike looks like this except for the wheels. I use Krysium SL's instead of the Shimano r540's

CHEERS.

Here's mine..Not to good a pic..The front wheel is different from the rear right now because my spokes are bladed, and I haven't bought a transmiter for my computer that fits bladed spokes..Anyway, it's an awesome bike, I'm glad I decided to get it.

So, livingood's bikes are soooo light, they stand up by themselves? Or rather, the tires keep them from floating away.
