Is there such a thing? My son is 7 years old and wants a bike with gears. He is a good rider so I put him on a 20" bike and it fit well. He rode it around the store and it seemed pretty good. The problem is that his hands are too small to use the hand brakes. I am looking for a bike that has multi speed ( 3 at least ) and has a coaster break. Does anybody know of a bike like this. Thanks

Shimano has a 7, 4 and 3 speed gear hub with coaster brakes.

Nexus 7
Nexus 4
Inter 3

You could have a wheel built for any of these hubs. You'll also need the shifter that goes with it. I recall they are all the twist shift variety.

Check out Electra's website. They have many cool looking 3 speeds with coaster brakes. They are under Cruisers & Streamride.
