What are the percentages of people that have completed a triathlon, any length?



I don't have the answer, but you always hear this stat thrown out there when you talk about running, marathons in particular. With the growing popularity of the sport, does anyone have data on this?

Well I've only done four sprints in this my first season, but as far as I know, everyone finished those. It's not a pile of twitching bodies by the roadside ;)

I heard a stat about that(for Canada) that it was something like 3 or 4% of all Canadians have finished a triathlon(any distance)
