Hey, I know there must be a couple of dentists on here, and I have a question about braces. I'm looking to straighten my teeth, and invisalign looks pretty darn nice. Anyone have any experiences with these? I'm going to be making an app. with my dentist, but wanted to know about any background info..

Works form me. It's taking longer than a year 'cause I needed some follow up work. Cost just under $5000 for uppers and lowers.
I heard that it works mostly for people who have a minorish, give or take, teeth allignment problems. If it's like really drastic or just sifnificantly off, go with braces.

I was told the same. I wanted invisalign myself, but I was told that it would not work for me.
Oh well, these braces after nearly 3 years are finally coming off soon! *I am told*

I had partial dental coverage, so it wasn't that bad a hit. Also, it's fixed fee. If it take 3 years, 60 liners and untold side work with traditional braces, the price doesn't change.

Yeah, I have pretty straight teeth, so this will probably work for me, I will only need the uppers. I'll have to check w/ my coverage here at work to see what % is covered...i'm just not cool on the whole braces thing, and being able to take them off is killer!

Whatever you do, don't be like my friend who tightened his own braces when he moved to another city. His teeth are even more crooked.
