im going to get the kikapu, but i just absolutely hate the color, its a great bike, great components, but the color is fugly, all i want is a flat black bikke with no advertisments, whats the best way to get it painted? should i ship it off to some specialist?, i dont even want to ride it with the paint job how it is, ill proably paint it when its brand new, i also want my commuter road bike the same, i just hate colors they have and all the stickers, i just want it all flat black, how much does paint a bike professionally cost? could u point me in the right direction?
thanks

Yeah Blechhhh!

Hey you wanna see ugly? Click on my sig "half squishy". It almost stopped me from buying it. But the bike had good reviews that year.

I'd budget 200-300 dollars for quality painting. Painting the fork might be extra. It might not be that good of a deal after that. Blue and white isn't that bad, but I hate the 2 tone paint jobs in general though. Paint it Seinfeld green!

Sandblast the frame then powdercoat it. You might even be able to find a place that hires out the facilities to let you do this yourself.

Check if it voids the warranty though. It does for Giant

Just find a nice body shop in the area, they will be able to do something for you.

Cover it in mud and dirt. You never know it's ugly.
