Bicycle Mechanics - Stainless metric bolt kit?

I never seem to have the bolt I need. Where can I find a reasonably priced kit of bolts for bicycle applications. It would need 5 and 6mm bolts of varying lengths with assorted nuts and washers. Preferrably a variety of head styles too...button, cap screw etc. Does anyone supply this as a package, or do I need to go to the hardware store and create my own? Bolts are pretty expensive to purchase individually, and it would be nice to have a box with compartments and labels. How do you bike shop owners to it? Thanks.

Edit: As far as quantity...I am thinking of 5 apiece of 10-ish varieties with 20 nuts and washers.

Bike Tools Etc. sells stainless metric bolts in a variety of head types and lengths. They have kits in various diameters and you could get the M5 and M6 kits which should be what you want. In fact "today's special" on their web site happens to be an M4 kit for $29 so I expect the M5 and M6 kits to be similarly priced.

Just to add to that. If you e-mail biketoolsetc. directly, they're pretty responsive about tailoring an order for you. I once asked if they had a replacement pin for a Lifu chain tool, and someone there wrote an e-mail back offering to dismantle another chain tool to sell me the piece. They can, however, take a few days to respond. It's possible that "they" is no more than a person or two, not sure.

Personally, I could use a set of axle spacers in various sizes, too.

$37.50 apiece = $75 + shipping for M5 and M6 which is far more than I'm willing to spend. Also, each set has good variety, but a few more of each piece than I would really need.

Does anyone know where to find a combination of M5 and M6 at about 300 pieces for around $20?

Find a very old bike shop and ask the owner if he would sell you a hand-full of fasteners from his miscellaneous used bolt drawer. Who knows you might get lucky.

I have found a ready assortment of M4, M5 and M6 Stainless fasteners and nuts online. fastnerexpress, or some such. In a pinch, Sears has a decent selection.

You buy the M5, I'll buy the M6 and we'll each mail half to the other.

It makes no sense to buy bolts from bicycle part suppliers since they don't have large sales volume of those. A quick example of more competitive prices can be found here:

You can wander around the site to find the nuts and washers. Otherwise, fastener suppliers offer good prices but may require you to buy large quantities.
