I got my new Photon sport twin from nashbar yesterday and gave it it's trial run today.

I'm impressed. I got it for $47.00. It comes with a 6 watt and a 12 watt light. I was a little miffed though because the original web page they had for the light said it had a NiMH battery pack. They sent a SLA battery. I called and they said they "ran out" of NiMH batteries. Hmmmmm. Well for $47.00 I'm not gonna complain. Nice aluminum housing, beefy wires with impessive plugs. A safe plug and forget charger. I am however going to buy this Battery (http://www.batteryspace.com/product.asp?3=169)

and build a 8Ah NiMH battery pack and replace the 12 watt bulb with a 25 watter :) Run time on the 6 watt should be impressive and the 25 watt with the 6 watt would still last quite awhile.
I also bought the cateye 300LD. It's the 5 LED light. I'm VERY impressed. It's SO MUCH BETTER than the halogen 2-C battery cateye 550 I bought. I nice bright blue light with excellent gound coverage. Very nice light indeed.

Look pretty cool, but don't go blinding anyone!

Thanks for posting this. I may pick up one as well.
