Hi, I was coming home from school today on my MTB and it was pi*!in down! and my grips were useless! Does anyone have any suggestions except possible wearing gloves?
Cheers, Phil

Ergon grips http://www.performancebike.com/shop/Profile.cfm?SKU=20412&item=50-3094&slitrk=search&slisearch=true ? There's a lot more there to hold onto then the typical round rubber MTB grip. I would not ride in the rain at all without gloves on though. Skin is way too slick when wet.

i have those grips and love them, never tried them wet though, they are ok when sweaty.
if you can perhaps wrap your grips in a washcloth to get a better grip and soak up some water?
maybe get some of those cheap foam grips? i don't know if those get slippery
or just go for gloves, they have nice gel pads that make them more comfortable anyway.
