Bicycle Mechanics - Warranty on Manitou fork..how?

My month old stumpjumper's manitou fork has decided to no longer allow lockout. Who do i go to for warranty.........specialized or manitou? Also, does the dealer i bought it from deal with this or am i on my own? Thanks......

The bike shop you bought the bike from will do it all for you.

Already wow...do you do a drop while locked out?

I don't drop. I just ride fireroads up, and back down the same or an occasional single track. I only lock it on the street or up fireroads.

I'm so glad I swapped for a Duke.

While i'm at it, just so i don't have to post yet another thread......will my stumpjumper be fine with a tire that is 2.3" instead of the stock 2.00? I don't even know if that pertains to the width or height of the tire. Theres lots of clearance for width, but heigth has only about a 1/4" clearance. I wanna get some Panaracer Fire DH Pros at cambriabike.com. (is that place any good?)

Geeze....its width, they should be fine.

Sorry, but as i've said i'm new to this, and better safe than sorry.

Get some Maxxis 2.3's. Because of there profile they run on the smaller side but they hook up great. Here is there site

Too late........i got some panaracers. I think they'll be fine for what i do, plus a friend has had them for more than a year and they still have plenty of tread. My stock rear specialized is almost worn down considerably after a month !

Roll X's are a soft compound tire designed for trail riding not roads or really hardpacked fire roads. If that's what you're intending get a set of semi-slicks. That or you could try a set of Specialized Hardrock'R 's (harder composition full knpbby) or Crossroads (similar but has a smooth raised center strip)
