I just got a new bike, and took off the front wheel to transport it some where. when i put it back on the bike, the wheel is a little wobbly.
am i putting the wheel back on incorrectly?
how do i stop it from wobbling?

Set the bike down on it's own wheels. Loosen the front quick release lever. Now push straight down on the middle of the handlebar while you retighten the QR lever. Done.
I had the same thought as Retro, above. Once you get the axle seated all the way into the fork dropouts if you still have a wobble you nay need the wheels(s) trued. On a new bike this should be included in your first routine tuneup. Loose spokes are often a cause of wheel wobble.
