Introductions - Hey there from Tennessee!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hey there, all! Hubby and I decided it was time to pump up the tires and hit the streets on our bikes. Unfortunately, our bikes are old and rusty as they have suffered years of neglect by hanging in the garage ... unridden, uncared for, and unloved. Hubby got a new bike and I have adopted our daughter's bike, which she hopes we will deliver to her at her college family weekend. I guess I'll be on the lookout for a new bike soon. So, here we are ... two overweight, out-of-shape 40-somethings who are hoping to make a change (for the better!) in our lives. I look forward to learning much from you all! :)

PS: I'm a former Tennesseean myself! Chattanooga is where I consider home and I wanna go back! Maybe after I get my degree done!
