Community Bulletin, First Edition!
The community bulletin will be a weekly update sent to all members (opt in)
of the Bike Forums (bikeforums.net). The community bulletin will include a
tip of the week for using the forums, and the top 10 topics, sorted by
latest threads, threads with the most replies, threads with the most views,
and threads with no replies yet. We will also list the latest 10 polls,
forthcoming birthdays, forum statistics, and your personal user information.

TIP OF THE WEEK

Your profile holds information like your website URL, your location, hobbies,
occupation, and basic biography. However it also holds a lot more, including
things like your ICQ, AOL and Yahoo messenger numbers, your birthday and
the most used profile field, your signature, and even your custom user text.
So why should you take a few minutes of your day and fill this information
out? Because this is a cycling community! The more information we know about
other members, the more comfortable we will be talking to each other. Its
always fun to see another post from a member in your same state, or even the
same city. I know of a handful of forum members that have already met up,
and have been on rides together! Its amazing what a simple website can do.
