... the new Giant OCR touring? Disc brakes. Man they are taking all my ideas;) I put XTR discs on my road bike before I sold it. I know this thread may get moved but I thought I would put it here for all to see. I figure the disc brakes are from MTB's and the bike is a road bike so it realy has no thread. May be in the touring section but I do not think some users view that one.

Hey I saw one of these the other day at my LBS. I'm not sure if it was the OCR Touring or one of the other Giant models. I was wondering if these were good bikes. I have a hybrid now but was thinking of adding a pure road bike to the stable. I like the idea of the disc brakes...it seems like they would be easy to maintain and keep adjusted. And it also seems that if you managed to slightly torque a wheel while on the road then you would likely have less of a problem with brake pads rubbing until you got to get the rim trued up again.
