Thanks for your help in advance. I tried searching for my problem on the forum, but couldn't find anything. I recently bought an old road bike for $4, because I'm helping my friend build up a commuter bike. The handlebars were no good, so I have another pair of drops, and I wanted to move the brake levers from the old, bad drops to the better ones. However, I don't know how to remove the levers. They are old Shimano Dura-Ace, and there doesn't appear to be any screw to loosen. Instead, there is a piece of metal that goes around the drops and inside the levers. It's hard to explain, but I hope you guys get the picture.
THe levers are tight (I tried just sliding them off). How do I loosen the metal belt thing so I can remove the brake levers?
