Mr. Beanz

Yesterday I saw Iamtim with his bud, but didn't get a chance to sop and say hi. Today I saw Octico, his son and wife in their Wheaties jerseys. Saw them by Edna Park/golf course. They were going the oppostie way and I tried to shout "Hey". I'm actually a pretty quiet person so I'm not sure if they heard me or not!:D
Then later down the rode I ran into the 13 year old kid Max and his Pops. Yes he does exist and he is real. Rides a white bike just like he says. Not a troll, so you can all relax! I introduced my self and Gina, did some conversatin' then took off.(yes I know, don't educate me!). Max seemed like very quiet kid. He seemed a bit on the shy side. I could be wrong though! Hope he didn't run into many bees!
Gina and I arrived at the beach stop. We sat on a wall for a bit then decided to go sit on a cement bench. There was already some guy on the long bench, but we sat anyway hoping he didn't mind. He said,"have a seat". He was riding a ti Litespeed so I asked about the material as I can only afford cheap aluminum. We started talking then he said something about bike forums. "Bikeforums dot net", I aksed. He said, "yeah". Maybe it was "yes" cause he was very polite. Then said he was only a lurker and didn't post.
I said I sign on as "Mr. Beanz" Then he started laughing saying he has read most of my posts. So we started talking about some of them and having a good laugh. Gina just busted up saying, "I can just imagine what he writes". Man, talk about a lurker, the guy knew everything about every post. I told him he ought to sign on as he has a good sense of humor and is very intelligent. OK, now the funny part! He was Oriental. Oooops, I mean AAAAAAASIAN!:p
He said he might sign on and tell the forum people that I kept calling him Oriental!:D
We talked a long while as a few of my friends started showing up at the rest stop. We had a good time and plenty of laughs. Then someone passerby had to go and ask what the time was,DORK! He got an answer then everybody looked at eachother like, "dang, we better go" . So we took off with a small paceline of people dropping off friends along the way at several different exits. After all our friends were gone it was just Gina, me and "The Lurker". SO I guess he dropped us off about a mile before his stop! He rode back with us and did great. I'm kind of thinking that the guy was some kind of racer or something. He was lean, mean and muscular. OK, maybe not so mean!:p But I would almost bet that the guy could have rode off at 30 mph if he wanted to!
He said that he had seen us before on our tandem. I know I had seen him before so hopefully we'll see him again on another ride so we can exchange more forum stories!:D
