what do you guys think of the new demos?

Those things are BUTTUGLY! I'm sure if you cover it with dirt it's a great bike.

I like em :) Im thinking that the paint is defantly a love it or hate it thing though... But I think they look awesome.

it's a nice change from what every other bike maker has been putting out so far... i like change. but i'd much prefer the new stumpjumper fsr's - the one in silver looks nice.

i kinda dig the paint. then again, i ride a kona... known for their fugly paint jobs.

Of course, if they make the rest of pimp accessories, it'd be sweet. I could see a gold helmet shaped like a wide brim hat with a purple or pink feather sticking out of it. A long gold trench coat that will have a jersey like material so that it will wick away the persperation and will have an integrated water blatter. Not to mention all the useful storage pockets for tubes, switch blades, guns and the like.;)

I would totally hit it, without a doubt. It looks like most of my clothes, well only the 8's and the 7II, the others I could do without, and the frame does look kinda funny.

I love the new paint jobs, I am not sure why. I guess it is just sorta catchy. I'm not sure if I like the new curvy frame design. Is it benificial at all?

Berrecloth's old SXT was soooo much nicer! I hate his new one its fugly! I'd still ride it however ;)

I think specialized is one of the only "cookie cutter" companys that are actually being original.. Sure some of it isnt the greatest.. but at least its different. Change is good.

I think my local Specialized dealer will be very happy that he got Felt and Bianchi in the shop now that Specialized has chosen to make such "lovely" colors. I think they're kinda cool. But I can see where others will look at them and feel that they've entered a thrift shop as opposed to an LBS.

The day I let colour influence my bike choice decisions is the day I become a b*tch! :p

Progression is good. Change to simply change...is about as exciting a football in a tootoo.

The new Enduro SL and the Demo 7 both show progression in design IMO.

The SX Trail is already perfect, so there's no need to change anything there but paintjob. :D

Yeah, I started racing bmx in '83.. but chrome was cool at that time.

You'd think Specialized would throw in a pair of matching socks...don't like it myself; reminds me of Austin Powers for some reason.
