I did last year but I stopped. No real reason, it's pretty cool. I might start again next year.

Yup! Reminds me of how much I'm sucking this year! Last year 23 centuries and 7300 miles.

This year 2500 so far, no centuries. I also paid the premier member for a few other little benefits like making my journal viewable to others.

I do, I do!!!! I really like it, I can look back to see how I did a few months ago or make comments about a particular route etc.

You know how you can select a "club" there to log your miles under? Well, I was just thinking, maybe we could create a BF SoCal "club". It would be cool to see how many miles we rack up!

What do you think?

I've got TE listed now but actually went on there last night, thinking there must be a bikeforum club... didn't see one though :(

Sounds like a good idea to me!!!

used it last yr, stopped using it this year, i got burnt out will all the numbers, so i got rid of my computers on the roadie and FS mtb bike. I don't track it any more, riding has become alot funner without the numbers to worry about.

yeah i tend to track every single stat (and i mean everything) in a very meticulous fashion including daily calories with fitday.com and incorporate those results into my training spreadsheets. its mentally a tough slog no doubt. So ive incorporated a full week into my normal 6 week blocks where i continue my training but just ignore the data collection/review - you do just need to get away from it from time to time for sure.

I think it's cool. I've logged my miles in a handwritten binder for the last 8 or 9 years. So BJ has made it easy!

yup I was doing the fitday.com thing too. By the 3rd race of the season and 5 races in the winter season I was completely tired of ALL number coming from the bike and food intake. I also got tired of riding because it wasn't fun any more, seemed more like a chore to get ready for the next race. I was mentally tired of it all. Good thing my race season takes the summer off, so the 3 months of without racing let me find the fun side of riding again. I'm hoping to explore a new side after I convert my race MTB to a SS. I'm hoping it will make a hill climber out of me.

i think you can ask joe to change it for you! we'd only be confused a little while (plus you can put "the poster formerly known as injured" either as your title or signature for a while!)
