I had to sell my car and fix up my 2000 Kona Nunu for transportation. The problem is I need to replace the derailleur hanger.

My rear derailleur hanger looks like this and costs $21....

Bike Nashbar sells them for $9 for their line of MTB frames and they look like this...

I was wondering if the hanger from bike Nashbar will fit on my frame. Thanks

Thanks for the reply.

I'm by no means a bike guru, but since I just sold my truck I'm kind of stuck on learning this stuff. I just serviced my 2000 Marzocchi Bomber Z.5 all by my little old self and I'm building up confidence.:D I tried looking for some reviews here on my fork but couldn't find any. It's heavy as hell, but it goes over tree roots nicely as I found out the other day. I have to replace the front derailleur and need a new rear wheel as mine is slightly bent. So, that means I have to buy some more tools and figure out a way to switch the cassette to the new hub, which shouldn't be hard. I see myself comming back here in the future.:o

picking up a bike maintenance book such as zinn's would be a great aid in learning how to maintain your bike on your own.
