Introductions - Newbie from Washington

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hello all. Just found this page a few days ago. Nice site. Been biking ever since I learned how. Started off with BMX bike and just grew from there. My first Mtn. bike was a Diamondback Sorrento. I now ride a Klein Mantra Race with many upgrades. We don't have a didgital camera so I'll ask my bro-in-law to take some pics to get them posted. I've noticed a few members ride Kleins. GREAT BIKE!!!
As far as riding the time to do it is getting fewer and far between. Use to ride 4-5 days a week. Now, all my friends and myself are married with kids and it's like pulling tooth and nail to get a ride togther. When we do go we try to get up to Snoqualie Pass Ski Resort for some downhill. Well, no needs for writing a book so I'll end it here.

Welcome, mkyster. I'm from the dry side, but I get over your way (Mt. Vernon & Bellingham) a couple times a year. Nice to have another Washingtonian aboard!

Spokane, I love Spokane!! Use to live out in Suncrest, 4 or 5 miles past Nine Mile. Went to Mead HS. My Father and his wife have 10 acres in the Garden Springs area. What part of Spokane?

I live up on the South Hill, about a mile southeast of Ferris. I like to get out to the Bowl and Pitcher a lot on the weekends and ride the dirt trails and the Centennial. Too many hills for an old guy like me, but I try to gut it out! I know how you feel about Spokane - my job moves me around, but we always seem to come back to this area. It's home for us. Had a nice ride this morning south of 57th then over to Manito Golf Course - about 10 miles - a great morning.
