I looked at the Weather Channel yesterday morning and it looked like rain in North Georgia. Did it rain on Six Gap?

Oh yeah.... It was raining off and on all morning, seemed like it cleared up for a couple hours, then poured again... But hey, at least it wasn't hot...

The weather was so miserable – nearly constant rain :( -- that I decided to wimp out and do just the 3-Gap course. I made the decision the night before to take my commuter bike (it has fenders and lots of carrying capacity for extra clothing) which turned out to be the way to go.
The goodie bag included a 2005 Tour de Georgia t-shirt and a 2005 TdG ID badge from one of the sponsors which looks kind of official.
