Mo'Phat: I don't know what happened. Maybe I missed the "x" when I typed it in. Maybe the name was too long and the BF system cut it off.

The plural of "phoenix" would be "phoenices." Or perhaps, Phoenicians.

My vote, since it is a Greek word, is "phoenices", much like the plural of "index" is "indices".

My vote is not worth very much though. Somewhat less than a grain of salt.

My screename of choice was too long for BF to accept so I got the phrase "here and there" out of a book I was reading. I think it was Edward Abbey's "Desert Solitaire" I was reading at the time.

Real name == keeps you honest.

I don't worry about using my real name because I don't suffer any delusions about how incredibly easy it is to find out who anyone is if you're really interested. And if you're really interested in who I am, you likely need to ride your bike more.

Heddy is a nickname for Heather (my real name) and "Eddie Would Go" is a phrase used to describe Eddie Aikau, surf legend. Put the two together and there's my user name.

Nothing very interesting. In my younger days I was semi-goth and wore mostly black (although I do still wear a lot of black now that I think of it). At the time I'd just finished reading "Memnoch The Devil" and was looking for a good username for newly created hotmail service. I've had that email address for nearly 12 years now I think.

One of my hobbies is collecting and shooting firearms. My favorite brand is GLOCK. Also, N2GLOCK was my personal license plate for several years.

Thought the tune "Smart Patrol" by Devo was catchy... don't know what it means (you probably don't understand my potato), but catchy. Star of that song: Mister DNA.

Plus, when my fingers go faster than my brain (as is usual - in general, the former is quicker than the latter), I often type my name as Dna. Which is better than the great uncle I had who used to still type me letters at the age of 90, signing off as "Uncle Dam". Yup, he rocked.

I used to play a lot of pool when I was in high school. So I picked this name and it stuck. Oddly enough I don't play pool anymore and I haven't played in years.

But one name is as good as any other, I suppose.
