And why is Mr. Beanz easy? is that your last name or just a favorite food to help you rocket up the hills?

1955...year of birth, duh. I used to visit here under my real full name (was used to a woodworking forum that you HAD to use your real name or you couldn't post) and decided that wasn't a good idea, so when I needed to come up with a new one I took all of about 2 seconds and came up with my birth year.

My name (Mr. Gear Jammer) is actually a song sang by George Thurogood and The Destroyers "Gear Jammer". Beanz you stole your name from a british comic called "Mr. Beanz" never said a word but is freakin hilarious.

My dad started calling me Mr. Beanz when I was like 3 years old. Has stuck ever since with relatives and frineds. Many call me Mr. Beans! Just use a "Z" now instead of an "S" cause it's more exotic!:p

Many just call me "Beans". Several others call me a whole lot more than that!:D

Well, ever since I was a kid I have always told my friends that they were not fast enough weather it be bicycles, motorcycles, running, etc. etc. etc. (even if they were faster then me) and when I first saw the "Master Says Faster" sticker by Bianchi I decided to adopt it as my screen name here and switched from my old sn to this new one.

I have to be in a meeting in five minutes, so here's a cut-and-paste:

I did income taxes on the side a few years ago: La Sierra Income Tax Service: LSITS. I set up all my user names from Yahoo to AOL to the one I use at work to the lower-case lsits. People usually refer to me as I-sits, myself included.

Surferbruce

Used to spend a lot of time surfing and shaping boards. before that i spent even more time rock climbing, so i could be climberbruce. either way they're both pretty lame, but surferbruce was a username i used on the scooterbbs when i was really into old vespas and lambrettas (sorta in between the climbing and surfing thing).

Oh, I read it over there. Took me a while to find your name. I just meant that I didn't post the thread over here cause it was over here. I just wanted to know more about the Socal names, people I may and have met. Interesting to see some of the meanings.:)

Way back when the internet was new (early 90's), I had to come up with a screen name for my ISP, which was Delphi. Oh man, that's a million years ago...all text, no WWW and a 2400 baud modem!

Anyway, as I was thinking about this, our dog, Nestle, came wondering into the room. I patted her on the head "Hey ya doin' Nesdog?" Voila!

Been using it since then.

Been using mine for years. It was originally supposed to be ModernKnight because I like the code of chivalry and try to be a gentleman yet still respect equality (if the woman wants to open the door herself, you're not a gentleman by insisting that you get it!), but that was taken on AOL so I used UrbanKnight. Boring, many of you have much more interesting stories.

Therefore octico = Orange County Costa Rican, but I am only half Costa Rican. The rest of the story I will save to be told after a couple cold ones some day
