I mentioned last weekend that I ordered some of these. They came in Friday so I got to use one on the ride yesterday.
They are very bright and seemed to hold their brightness well through a couple of washings in cold water, one with no detergent and one with detergent.
I ordered two, both in yellow (safety orange is also available). I ordered one short sleeve and one long sleeve. The shirts are from two different manufacturers, but both are a bit oversized for what I am used to. I wear 42-44 T's and large T's usually fit me just slightly loose. These are noticeably looser, though not unusably so. Nonetheless, my next order will be for mediums, especially since I want a little snugger fit for riding anyway. Both T's were easily long enough to tuck into shorts.
The polyester wicked moisture well. The short-sleeved T even had a tag advertising it's moisture control properties. The long-sleeved T had no such tag but appeared to be of very similar material.
The short-sleeved T had "max 75X washings" on the label. I'm assuming that means they expect it to fade significantly by then, since these are sold by a safety-clothing company.
Did I mention these are bright? I stopped in the Marina store at the state park to get a bottle of water and three teen-aged girls were walking by as I was locking up the bike. One of them said, "Mister, that's the brightest shirt I've ever seen."
If you decide to order these, make sure you get the polyester and not the cotton, as the company sells both.
