Training & Nutrition - Carmichael Training, Wenzel Coaching et al for this winter: worth it?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I am recovering from a total hip replacement, lost all of this summer, but I'm finally back on the bike, doing weight training and using the Cycle-ops trainer but winter is coming soon to Vermont. I've been thinking of getting some serious coaching for the winter using some of the sites I see listed on cyclingnews.com like Carmichael Training systems, Wenzel Coaching, and Colorado Premier Coaching. They all offer to customize a training regiman with weekly/monthly updates. Does anyone have any personal experience with these outfits? Is it worth the money ($40-75/month for the basic plans which include 1-2 hrs of telephone contact a month and then emailing etc). Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.
Here's my review of the carmichael "classic" package:

Thanks. Anyone out there actually use a live coach at Carmichael or other places?

First, what is your goal? What kind of results do you want to achieve over where you are now?
While the personal coaches can definitely be worth their money, it really depends upon how much you want to improve and where you want to end up.
