Im currently building by first fixed gear bike (parts come in tomorrow!) and was wondering if there are any fixie riders in San Jose who post on the board, because I haven't seen many in the streets.

yep, i ride fixed tho' i've mostly been on the road bike lately as i'm trying to get better at climbing.
there are a quite a few fixies around sjsu/downtown, and a few other south bay fixed riders on BF.
check for ride flyers/postings at Good Karma downtown (myspace.com/goodkarmasj). i am more of a bad-weather commuter fixie nerd myself so i don't do too much of the nighttime hipster bar-crawl + bike ride thing but i can see the appeal :)

My fixed gear has quickly become my main ride, since I leave it at work and take it on the daily noon rides in/around Fremont.

im not from san jose but i stay in sj on the weekends and i ride while im out there. usually in south san jose hellyer/blossom area
