I got a new bike! Just had to share it with you all. Picked it up Saturday and got to ride it today for the first time. Awesome.
Components sure make the difference. I'm not bragging it's just my first real professional bike. (not Wally-World)
I knew if anyone would understand, you all would.
Cheers!

Sweet bike. I bet you will have a lot of fun with it.
SWEEEEEEEEET!
I see nothing wrong with the components. As long as you like the frame. After all it is the most important thing about the whole rig. You can always upgrade them later. However if it is LX or above you are fine do not sweat it, LX is good stuff.
My Giant Iguana was looking over my shoulder at the photo, and gave an enthusiastic snort of approval! :D

DG,
Great lookin' bike.
I notice you have tubeless tires. I've never tried them. Let us know what you think of them.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys.
Ron so far the tires have been super. Unbelievably light with the Mavic rims. Only had 3 rides but I love 'em so far.
Not sure about a name yet Alpha, I'm open for suggestions.
All I can think of so far is ecstasy. It's right on the frame, XTC!:D

Nice bike and Ecstacy is also a nice name.....
I'm curious about the tubeless tires, too. I didn't even know such a thing existed till a few months ago when I saw something on another forum. And I didn't take time to read about them....
I think I'm painting myself into a corner here.... :(

Oh, what a magnificent looking machine.
Ride her for awhile and get back to us with a report on performance.
I bet you are going to be happy.
Way to go DG!!!! Looks cool, all nice and shiny!!! I really dig the Race Face crankset!!! I wish I could afford one. I hope you and your new ride have many many great hours together.
