alright, folks, looking for input from those wiser than i... i'm looking at buying a 2004 pista off of a local track rider... it's never been crashed, the frame's in awesome shape ... he keeps the pedals, i get the rest of it - factory/stock wheelset.
i've heard various words from folks at the track about whether/not pistas are The Way To Go ... but for my budget [yay grad school], and a new track rider, this is an excellent start.
so - editorial comments on the nature of pistas aside... any guesses on a reasonable final selling price? [nevermind the bantering of offers...]
