Southern California - I made my choice.... I got the 06' Tarmac Pro pics attached!

Thanks for all the advice kids, I decided to go with the the 06' Tarmac Pro for the same price as the 07' expert. The difference between the two is huge. The frames are the same, components are different (mine has Dura shift ers). I am so exicited to go riding this morning. Its big change from 03 Specialized Allez elite (105 group).

That's why I don't run it myself. But someday, once I get around to learning how to deal with bar tape myself, I think I will use white tape just because it looks so cool. :D

You can always right click, go to Properties, then copy the image source URL into the browser.

White tape just scares me it seems like it gets dirty easy.

But white bar tape when dirty adds so much character to the bike. I love white tape, especially the vinyl variety. :)

So I took the new baby for a ride this morning. I was riding up Birch, in Yorba Linda and caught up with this riding an Allez, we started talkin. I asked him where he was going he said "To work, I just started this new job at Rock and Roll Cyclery" and I said "No way, i just bought this bike last night at that very same shop". I just find it funny that I ride this same loop twice a week for the last year and have never seen one person on it and today I take my bike for its first time and I meet this guy. Aside from that the bike handle GREAT!! I had heard people talk about CF being able to absorb the cracks. We Specialized has taken to nth degree with this dampening system I felt like I was on my MTB the ride was soooo smmooottthhh.

I will try to (drop it like it's hot?), just give me a little time. I just got back into cycle about a year ago after about 8 years of getting fat. Give me a chance to catch up I need about another 25 more pounds to lose.
