Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Reeky assed chrome bag.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Anyone know how to get that "well used" smell out of the heavily padded chrome bag shoulder strap?
without resorting to leeches, eye of newt, bat toe, dog tongue, or virgin blood

"My bag stinks" is the winner
Soak it in vinegar and then throw it in the wash.
It might smell faintly of vinegar for a day or two but that will go away and it will smell fresh and clean.

windex.
Tumble dry or air dry?
The machine might actually soften it up... a year later it's still stiff like a board..
