Trying to find a frame for her that weighs less than her current behemoth 70's Schwinn -- what type of stuff do you guys usually find there? I'm not sure if I should expect a bunch of track stuff cause it's at the velodrome or just more of a garage sale-type thing.

I'm about an hour's drive north of Trexlertown and the velodrome, in a town named Long Pond. I'm like three miles from the Pocono Raceway where NASCAR holds the Pennsylvania 500 and the Pocono 500.

My girlfriend is from Jim Thorpe. Her dad is trying to get me out on the trails with him, but I currently lack the bike to do it with.

I'm going, I;ve never been able to go to one of these before. Riding up sounds fun, but not leaving early enough to get there around 9 before all the scavengers take all the good stuff. Don't know if my volvo can even make it as far as lehigh valley these days.

I'm a stones' throw from Jim Thorpe. Been meaning to ride the trails there with my singlespeed mtb but free time is hard to come by these days. There are a few trails near me that I've ridden but they are mostly multi-use trails with rocks the size of cantaloupes!

I'll be riding up again this year on Saturday morning. The ride up in spring was a real character builder since it poured the whole way up and back. If anyone else from the Reading area is interested in riding drop me a line. Otherwise I'll see you guys there.
