Greetings,

I recently bought two pairs of Look pedals off of Ebay. I was wondering if there's any sort of maintenance that should be done to them. When I rode Look's before I just put them on the bike and rode and rode and never worried about them.

They can be serviced if you think they need it. There is a special tool for removing the lockring, just a notched plastic thingy that you use with a wrench. It only costs about $3, but getting one can be difficult. I finally convinced my LBS to get me one. Take a look at it, though. You might be able to use a small hook-type headset spanner. I must confess that I never actually disassembled my Looks.
