Dirt jumping frames?

Anyone here ever built any dirt jumping mountain bike frames?
PLaying with the idea of building one.

man, jumpers need to be strong as sh!t, and unless youre experienced, i would stay the hell away and avoid a broken face when you headtube detaches from you downtube

I know a framebuilder that makes custom BMX frames, and they have to be ALOT stronger then any mtb frame.

I was playing with getting one when I snapped my BMX, but they were just to much money for me.

that ****s not hard. you just need chromolly and a good tig welder

id build something more classic. for sure. thats just me. but yeah just dont get your welds too hot.
