Bicycle Mechanics - Do it Yourself Website

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Im pretty new to cycling so I dont know how to do a lot of adjustments, cleanings, replacements, etc on my bike. Does anyone have any good websites that help explain all of this?

Welcome to the forums! If you have not already, download and read all of the Barnett's manuals (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20639). Other then that, I find that the forums and advice here is as good as anywhere else. When in doubt, ask a question.

The Barrentt's manuals are a great source of information. You can also check out www.parktools.com for a great step-by-step. Also, just go to the Bicycle Mechanics section, do a search or just ask away. There is an abundance of knowledge and experience available here!
