Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - Separation between quote and reply

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Is there a way to better separate a quote from the previous post and the reply? What I mean is that when a person replies to a post and quotes that post in their reply, the quoted portion looks exactly the same (font, size, and shade) as the new reply. This makes it hard to see when the old quote ends and the new info begins. On other forums I've seen the quoted section automatically reduced in size and the background is shaded so you can tell the difference between them. Is there already a way to view posts this way? Is it something I'm missing since I'm new here?

What browser are you using? On my really old browsers (on my really old laptop), it can sometimes be hard to tell what is quote and what is reply. But on my newer browsers (on my newer computer), the quote is in a box. It's obvious what's what.
Ah, that could be it. The way posts load on my computer makes the quoted section appear identical to the new post.
