They come and go on Nashbar, I had to wait a week or two until they showed up again. I've had a pair on for a few months now and I like them. And at the price its hard to go wrong. It may take a few rides to get the height, angle etc. correct for you, but they are comfortable when it is all arranged.

Harris cyclery has them as well but not as cheap as nashbar.

I got the Nashbar ones for 10 bucks. They rule, and get a lot of admiring looks from other cyclists as well as non-cyclists. Very comfy.

I bought both of ours on eBay for less than $10 a pair plus shipping

Just got one, on it's way by mail. Now, wrapping it is a DIY kinda of thing for the inexperienced ignorant, or should I take it somewhere?

It's pretty easy, just keep it tight, and sort of eyeball it to make sure every overlap is of equal distance. Don't be afraid to unwrap and start again.

Would trekking bars be a liability on tight, twisty singletrack ?
I think they are the best choice for me on tour, because I don't like riding in the drops, but what happens off the road ?
