hi, i hope i'm putting this in the correct forum... well, i'll ask anyway... my mom is interested in starting to cycle to lose some weight. i'm going to surprise her and buy a new bike for her, but i'm not sure what to get. she is older and considerably overweight so i was thinking possibly recumbant... she also has back problems so it's kinda difficult. if anyone has any advice for me i would love to hear from you... thanks, eric

Remember a low-cal diet is helpful too.

Recumbants are cool but i really like mtn bikes, they are good for all terrain. Can be bought anywhere and the price for these bikes are quite affordable. But that picture of that bike i seen looked cool that was posted here earlier. I think it is quite expensive though. Wish ya luck man:) .
