Picked up a '73 Raleigh Super Course a couple days ago. Tore it down for overhaul and as it was going back together I noticed it had a 610 caliper on the front for whatever reason. I dragged out my caliper bin and discovered I had enough 610s to start an artificial reef, but not a single 750. I borrowed the caliper from my Grand Prix for now, but I'll have to replace it eventually.
Anybody got an extra 750, or just the two caliper arms?

Mike,
All I have is this Weinmann Vainqueur 999 long arm. It's yours if you want it. See pic.

Bingo! Thanks, Mike -- that's a 750, alright. You headed up this way anytime in the near future? You can trade that brake in for a pass through my parts bins.
Didn't 70s Raleighs come with a 610 in the front and a 750 in the back?

Mike,
How soon you need it? Yesterday? :D I can come up your way and bring it to you or I can meet you this weekend. At the moment, I can't think of anything I need. PM me.

Now there's an idea for a thread: What's in your goodie box? I'm thinking of those parts that you've tucked away for their value or usefulness, but haven't quite figured out a home for (and haven't posted them on the For Trade forum or moved them to eBay sale). For me that would include a complete EA1 Dunlop front wheel, a lot of SA hubs and parts, a first generation Shimano 600 RD, a 36-hole alloy Araya EA1 rim, a couple of 40-hole alloy 700c rims, a couple of alloy EA3 rims, a whole bunch of decent alloy short-reach brakesets, 3 or 4 GB stems. And if I looked hard, I'm sure I'd find a few things I've completely forgotten about.

Hell, it'll be like a pub crawl; out to bossman's, over to my place, down to mhendricks'.
And actually, the 750 caliper is for my faithful old Grand Prix who took one for the team and gave hers up for the Super Course, so technically I won't be selling it.

Pah! I fart in your general direction.
I'd use one of the stamped steel sidepulls from the Robin Hood first.
