So...

Anyone else have problems finding bikes with 62cm+ seat tube, but with 58-60cm top tubes?

Ebay seems to be awash with 56cm/57cm, at least here in the UK.

Sorry, I own them all, it's my fault. Never had any trouble finding the larger sizes.

I'm having the opposite problem. I have acquired 5 more bikes over the past 6 months and 4 of the 5 seat tubes measure c to c 60cm, 61cm, 61cm and 62cm. I best fit a 59cm seat tube but I'm finding it difficult to source bikes of that size. I buy the bigger frames as it's easier to lower the seat than squeeze onto a smaller frame.

This (http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/bik/213515802.html)just popped up on my local CL yesterday. It may be the biggest bike I've every seen!

I am 6'1" tall. I normally ride a 59cm frame. I have found a few more compact (55-57cm) frames. With longer seatposts and about 120 mm stems they work great. I put the stem lower and riding on the top bars puts me in a comfortable aero position. In fact I like the setup better than a 59 cm frame setup. I would rather go more compact frame than a stretched out frame any day. The frame is lighter and more rigid. I see a lot of nice larger frames on ebay but I never go for them. I think there are some deals to be had on the larger frames. You can adjust the top tube length difference with your stem. Even if I could adjust a larger frame to fit me (shorter seatpost length and shorter stem length) I know I wouldn't want a larger frame.
