Day 20 Omarama to Tarras 87 km.
Today Lindis Pass (970 mtr.) was on schedule, a nice heavy pass with about 10 km steady climb before.
Left again at 0800, and i was soon passed by a Canadian cyclist with also a BOB trailer.
He headed for Clyde, another 130 KM away, pfff, this guy was doing a fast 7 weeks tour round NZ!
I agreed to rode up till Tarras, as said this guy was fast, i had to loose him on the climb everytime.
So he was a climber, but then again he had to loose me on the downhill :p
Tarras was in soon in sight, and after a cup of coffee we said goodbye and my legs could take a rest.....
Rode another 4Km off road to the backpackers where the owner gave me some free beer,
Mmmm
