I applied for sponsorship through my employers as part of their staff development plan. Today, after 6 months, I've recieved a pack containing £70 Vouchers to use against equipment purchases and a new Team strip.

This despite on the application form, me stating I hadn't raced for 7 years (not bad considering I'm only 24).

A very happy motivated bunny is I, this evening.

Well, I've just bought some new Tri-bars and a Heart Rate Monitor.

I've just discovered a I've doubled my resting heart rate from my racing days. Gone to approx 85bpm from 44bpm at my peak.

Damn hard work required me thinks.
