BMX - i cant wait till...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
we're all like 30, the only people left on the bmx forum are me, kinetik, eightdip, gunz, premiumbmx and fuzzy, and we still talk about the same stuff and flame everyone else out of this forum.
edit: when i had this thread in mind eightdip was the first person that came to mind. somehow it must've slipped my mind to add him.
we should all roadtrip from our respectable states, meet somewhere in the middle and have a jam

This forum doesn't suck.. the people in it make it suck, not the forums themselves. Although I honestly don't think anyone here is that bad... besides from a few people. Oh, Expat, I tried contacting another moderator but he never got back to me. Is there any way I could change my username?

The street is also awesome because you hardly ever get kicked out of spots, and all our parks are bike friendly.
cold as hell. well that would make it warm. so cold as the opposite of hell....winnipeg that is.
and madman...if you bought the plane tickets far in advance (like a year), they'd be pretty cheap

Winnipeg isnt even cold. Our winters are no worse then any winter in the northern states. And our summers are super hot. Not as hot as say texas, but I don't think many people would want it that hot anyway.

Well weather isn't really an issue having lived in the UK all my life.
virginia, usually stays above freezing and below 80. perfect temperature.

California. The farthest you can ever be from the snow or the beach is three hours, and we've got a nice Mediterranean climate.

Yeah, maybe indoors.
Haha we have ****ty weather.
Except for the last few days (which still, its rained every day) its like freezing-ish in the winter and wind chill is crazy low, and in the summer its at least 90 on most days.

Northern VA:
Spring-the best season.
Summer-usually hot as hell
Winter-Cold and lack of snow.
Fall-Other good season, for trails and nicer weather.
Right now its been nice out, nice breezy, like 60-70 ish each day, but for the last 3 days weve gotten a few showers and sprinklings...
Just enough to make the trails wet and the skateparks close for a few hours at a time.

It's been exactly the same over here. For some reason everyone at night complains about how cold it is... but I have been quite comftorable at night with just a t-shirt. Man, I wish I could still go out riding while the weather is good.

Yeah, ive been riding the past few nights in pants and a t-shirt, and its been nice, you barley sweat and its cool with a breeze.
Except the constant drizzles.

Yeah, I think this is pretty much the best time possible to ride. It's not hot, and it's not real cold.

You could always move to the US. I can't guarantee that all us americans will like you though... they might marvel at your accent and make fun of you for a while. Us americanos r stupido.

Its true.
We had a black kid come to our school from england, and everyone made fun of the fact that a black kid would voluntarily say crumpets!
Its quite funny.
Especially when he tried the gangster scene, ahahhaa.
Hes a cool kid though.
I should get him to ride.

New mexico is pretty warm compared to some places, but I still hate the cold. No way I could live on the east coast, I'm moving to Phoenix, LA or Austin.
On sunny days, you can ride in the winter in a t-shirt and it's fine, but windy/cloudy days suck and there's no point riding at all.

Oddly, most Americans don't like the pommy accent, sounds too snooty. But if you have an Aussie one, you'll get all the chicks. Works in reverse for Americans in Oz.
By the way, what's the rush to be in your 30s? You'll be too busy with your job, your house, and your kids to piss away the evening online.
