Recumbent - How to pull a Bob trailer with this?

My wife is getting her first recumbent on Monday. She decided on the Delta config'd EZ-# from Sun. She wants to tour with it. First, we need to figure out a mount system for a Bob trailer and second, any maintenance issues you can think of on the road?

Don't know how much of a handyman you are or if youknow someone who is...I would think there would be a way of 'extending' something back to put a hitch between those rear wheels;;;there is something there to hang on to. peace

I would make a "C" shaped bracket out of 1/8"X1" steel (from Home Depot or the like) and drill holes in the short ends large enough for a rear bicycle axle. Then drill some smaller holes on the long side and screw/bolt the bracket to the trike. The axle would be where you mount the B.O.B. "drop outs" or whatever you call the doohickys that go on the axle QR to attach the trailer to.
Can't see the back of the trike in the picture, so I'm only speculating here. But something like that is what I would do, and it shouldn't take any special tools to make. Maybe a vice for bending the steel strap.

Oops, for got to suggest that she be careful not to "crosschain". That means NOT having the chain on the big-big sprocket combination. It can lead to early transmission demize.

It can be done with a Burley nomad. I don't know about Bob. You can use the back red tabs and hook it up there, but you would have to put a tube between the tabs to make it stronger. Good luck!
