Razor 2002 Siege 360 BMX Bike???

http://shop.store.yahoo.com/mobileation/razsieg360fr.html

What do you guys think of this bike?... I am new and I want to start vert/street ridding. Is this a good bike to buy? I was thinking of getting a Specialized 415 StreetBoy but I can't seem to find a vendor in NYC and I don't have a credit card so online purchase is impossible.

If this is a "crap bike" please recommend a good bike that is below my $250 max or really close to it, say $270.

I also have my eyes on this bike: http://www.mongoose.com/bikes/detail.php?id=20&brandLine=Pro_US&brandID=2 a mongoose expert.

If anyone lives in NYC, where is a good place to purchase good bikes. I tried toys r us and all the freesytle bikes were under $150 I sure those are crap bikes.

Your reply would be greatly appreciated. I really need a new bike my old $90 Huffy is just not cutting it.

-Thanks

get the mongoose.

it should hold up fine while your learning to ride.

keep in mind,if you ride to progress it will start to fall apart.
that's what bikes do.

so start saving money after you purchase it so you can replace what breaks.

learn how to work on it so you can maintain it and it will last longer.
make sure the pegs are tight before you go ride.
put a good amount of air in the tires.
clean the rims and brake pads every so often and they will work better for longer.

most importanly though, have fun.

Yeah, I definatly agree of what PNJ said. Except for the bike. Try to get a better beginnner bike such as a Haro. This is about the same weight as an ordinary BMX bike would weigh. You will get the feel of the bike and eventually adjust to it, most likely. But what I do agree with is that you have to go out and just have fun. You cant give up just because of one trick...
