Hello all. I've been lurking for a couple of weeks now and I don't have time for a full introduction (soon though :) ) but I thought some of you may find this site interesting. At www.fitday.com you can input your specific caloric intake via selection of an incredibly large list of foods. You can also customize these selections. The same is true of daily activity. After selecting these you can also view various reports. Anyway, hope some of you may find this helpful!

Good riding!

Yeah..that is a great site isn't it ? I use it on a daily basis and found it very helpful for tracking weight loss etc. You can put in your goal weight and the date that you want to lose it by and it will calculate how much you need to lose each week to get to that goal. Pretty cool.

I don't mean to be sarcastic, but is that all it does (and I hope there is a lot more)?

I mean, if I weigh 200 pounds, and want to weigh 175 pounds, and I want to do that in 10 weeks, than any simple calculator will tell you that you need to lose 2.5 pounds per week.

Even my most unable 6th grade math students can figure that out - even without a calculator.

Maybe you need to look at the site, or reread the first post

Yes, I am aware that this is easy to figure out but had you taken a moment to go to the site before making your remarks, you would have seen that this is not all that it does and that I had merely been commenting on one element of the site. I didn't realize that there were such rude people on this site but I guess you proved me wrong.

And, I really didn't mean to be rude.

Sorry I came off that way.
