I've been quite unsuccessful at getting my sunglasses to keep a tight fit on my face. Granted, I don't have the $100+ Oakleys, but I did previously try $70-$100 Bolle and others, and those start sliding down my face after I start sweating it up as well. I think my profuse sweat and my nose structure simply makes it hard for glasses to get a good grip.

I was looking for some device to keep my glasses up. Croakies carries a whole line of stuff that seems interesting, and I'm sure most of them work, but I want something that works well.

I tried a "Terracord" (a simple cord which slides onto your earpieces, and then you pull the plastic knob to tighten on your head so that the excess cord dangles off the back), but I find the dangly extra piece annoying.

Croakies does have some earpieces ("Reax") that look promising, but I've never used them.

Anybody have any opinions/advice?

Mate, unless they are tied behind the head you're wasting your money.
Why? The more you sweat the more they will slide & nothing except
physical restraints will stop them. Been there.

at the store I work at (Sunglass World) we've got lots of Croakies. The Classic Croakies Strap works really well, as long as you slide the thing up your earstems to lock it in. The little add-on hooks don't work so well, and they tend to hurt.

Honestly, I your glasses fit right, they shouldn't move at all. I've got about 7 pairs of various Oakley models that are suitable for riding and basically lock into place. Modern sunglasses use hydrophilic rubber almost exclusively. This stuff actually gets stickier when it's wet, so sliding isn't a problem. If your Bolle's have rubber and fit correctly, there shouldn't be a problem during typical commuting rides. Now, if they aren't fitting tightly, they'll bounce around and make you miserable.

You can buy some cheapos, as long as they fit.

Croakies are great. I have had one for 12 years. Still using them and still good. They hold glasses to your face very well. Thinking about getting another simply because these are so faded.
