Taxi drivers world wide are cretins. You'd be a cretin too if you had to drive all day long in city traffic.

BTW, drivers in Melbourne aren't that bad. Sydney is much worse.

And the Gold Coast is worse than both of them.

Taxi drivers are idiots, but no more so than any other drivers. This evening's ride home to work reinforced a couple of lessons to me. The main one was that if you treat drivers with respect, you'll be killed. Far better to treat them like the idiots they are.

No way, I reckon Sydney has the worst drivers in Australia by far, and one of the worst in the world.
