Hi everyone!
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions about night riding. I commute 15 miles each way to work in NYC, and about 60 percent of my trip is along the hudson river on the bike path.
My issue is, now that it is gettin darker earlier, the headlights from the oncoming traffic are blinding. Thankfully I am in no harms way of the cars, I am however worried about other bikers, walkers, rollerbladers, and bushes! With the lights, it's very difficult to see ahead of me.
I love riding along the hudson, because I feel a lot safer without the worries of traffic, and its a straight away ride since there are no traffic stops. So i would rather not alter my route home, so I was wondering if there were some type of glasses, or eye wear that would help reduce the glare from the headlights, without imparing my vision in the dark. Would glasses with the light blue or yellow tint do the trick??
Any suggestions would be very helpful!!
Thanks
Dan
