Do you have opinions about bicycle riding in Edina?

Bike Edina needs to hear from you!

Whatever your skill level of riding,
take 30 minutes to attend the:

Opinion Gathering Public Meeting
Anytime between 7 to 9:30 pm
Tuesday Oct. 3rd or Thursday Oct. 5th
Edina Community Center, Room 351
5701 Normandale Road, Edina

The Bike Edina Task Force wants your input on how to make our community a better and safer place to ride.

How did it go? I lived in Edina just last year before moving to Hopkins and I have to say I was a little disappointed with the lack of bike lanes in Edina. No paths and just a couple of lanes?! What's that about!? I hope you guys are successful.

I'm here to help. I've biked some in Edina and it is rare to see other cyclist going about daily business. The multitude of highways, shopping centers, and office parks draws heavy car traffic. Busy intersections with clear right aways for Peds and Bikers is one step forward. Identifying safe routes is another move for better biking. Usually bike clubs will map safe routes. Hiring a bike coordinator may be your next step...Good luck...
