Hi, I have a 2004 Crossroads Comp with discs, I want to replace the suspension seatpost with a solid one. I measured the post and got 1.215 Inches. Any idea what this converts to in metric sizes ? I see from Performance's site that they have a Forte 26.2 and 27.2, neither matches this size when I run it through a online conversion program.... 1.07 in ?
Also wondering if anyone has replace the suspenstion fork on this bike and what they used ...
Thanks...

30.9 maybe. Specialized used this size on several of their bikes and is the closest match to your 1.215 inches.
However, the archives on the specialized site show your bike came with a 27.2.

It should be marked somewhere on the seatpost. I have yet to see one that wasn't marked somewhere on the post.

Remove the post, look just below the minimum insertion mark, you will see ø followed by a number. That symbol means outer diameter, the number is the outer diameter in millimeters. After you find that, life shouldn't be too hard.
